Consent and discretion
Nightfall works because everyone in the room can trust everyone else. These rules apply to every member, at every gathering, without exception.
Consent
- Ask first, every time. Nothing happens without a clear, enthusiastic yes.
- No means no, the first time. No persuading, no asking again, no sulking.
- A yes can become a no at any moment, and that is respected immediately.
- Couples are two individuals. Each person gives their own consent.
- Anyone too intoxicated cannot consent. Drink as you would at a fine dinner, not a bucks night.
Discretion
- No photos or video at any gathering. Phones stay away.
- Who you see stays private. Never name, describe or identify another member to anyone outside Nightfall, including online.
- Dates and venues are not to be shared. Invitations are personal and cannot be passed on.
Conduct
- Photo ID is checked at the door. Every guest must be 18 or over.
- Treat our hosts and staff with respect. Their word on the night is final.
- If something feels wrong, tell a host. Concerns are handled quietly and taken seriously.
If the rules are broken
Anyone who breaks these rules may be asked to leave immediately and will not be invited back. No refunds are given in that case.
